Is my donation tax-deductible?
- Of course! We are a registered non-profit organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.
-You will receive a year-end donation statement via email or regular mail for purposes of completing your personal income tax return.
Why do you prefer that I donate via direct Deposit rather than credit card?
- Fees! Paypal takes a percentage fee off the top of your donation to pay for credit card fees and their own fee for their services.
- So if you make a donation of $100 via direct deposit, all $100 makes it to WAMM!!
What specifically does my donation and support pay for?
- Great question. Within the forms you can select what ministry or missionary you'd prefer the funds be used for, and WAMM will make every effort to ensure that those funds are applied properly.
-In our 7-year existence, 100% of support preferences have been honored.
-You can be assured that when you sign up to donate, practically all of your donation is applied to the work of West African Mercy Ministries.
